The food and service was excellent, the atmosphere felt very romantic and quite classy. Gorgeous place to go for supper especially if you are sitting by a window. High vaulted ceilings with skylights really set the mood along with candles on the tables. Wait time for food wasn't too long, we we're in and out in under an hour. 6oz steak done medium rare melts in your mouth and the sauce used on it really adds to the flavor. The smoked salmon with Jasmine rice was really well done and portion size was just right. Definitely suggest trying the cheesecake with strawberry sauce with a glass of red wine to finish off the meal.

I stayed a couple of nights while visiting the Cypress Hills. It is the only hotel within the park. The location is great. There are great walking trails that you can take from the hotel. The hotel is just a short walk to the amenities - store, ice cream shop and restaurant. But be forewarned, there is not a lot of development in the park. The hotel itself was pretty good, maybe a bit dated but for sure well kept. I stayed in a King Suite room. The room was clean and comfortable and it sure was quiet at night. I had a great sleep. I had dinner in the lounge and breakfast in the dining room. Great view of the forest from the dining room. Food was standard restaurant fare. Staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. There is a public swimming pool nearby and you can rent canoes and kayaks at the nearby lake.

Had a lovely stay at the Resort. I was really impressed with how comfortable the beds were. The staff were very helpful. We went to the pub in the evening and the server was very niced and shared lots of information with us about directions and the like. Our experience was very positive!

Beautiful scenery. Friendly service. Absolutely lovely in every way EXCEPT they have horribly uncomfortable pillows that leave your neck kinked and make your sleep elusive. I would definitely come back....but with my own pillow.

Rooms are great. Restaurant is excellent. Catering for the wedding was very good. Winter activities are also decent.
